94-year-old woman travels across the country to say goodbye to her sister

A 94-year-old woman from New Hampshire traveled across the country because she wanted to see her 90-year-old little sister again. Her farewell is now going viral on TikTok. “If we don’t see each other on this earth, we’ll see each other in heaven,” the younger sister said in the heartfelt video. “Bet, bet,” the 94-year-old Seabrook woman replied. More than 2,700 miles is no comparison to nine decades of love between sisters. “But we did it, we had a wonderful, wonderful life,” said the 94. “This reunion lasted three years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Barbara Carolan, 94, of Seabrook has not been able to see her 90-year-old sister Shirley since 2020, but she was determined to make one last trip all the way to Nevada. “She said, ‘I really think this will be the last time I see my sister,'” said Stephanie Shively, Barbara’s granddaughter. Shively accompanied them and documented “They’ve waited so long to see each other again, and when you don’t know if you’re going to see someone again, especially siblings, it must be really hard,” Shively said. The night before she left, Shively said: She recorded their emotional bedtime conversation. “Don’t say goodbye!” Shirley said. “I’m not going! “There’s no way I’m saying goodbye to you,” Barbara replied. Shively posted the clip on TikTok for the family to see, but when she woke up in the morning, her video had already gone viral. It almost recorded 13 million views and counting. “Especially considering how crazy the world can get just to see how happy she is,” Shively said. Her family said Gigi, as they call Barbara, and her sister Shirley were amazed by the reaction.
